Bar Morning of Action – 6th January

The Bar Council proceeds tomorrow with its morning of action when members of the bar across the Country will be unavailable until 2pm . The action is intended to minimise disruption but equally make the point that enough is enough .

The action is also being supported by Solicitors and South Yorkshire Solicitors have been invited to attend a meeting at the Quaker House Sheffield from 10am .

Action is an individual choice but it is understand many solicitors will not be available to attend court tomorrow morning . Members have all received guidance on how to professionally address the events of tomorrow .

The clear message to the Ministry of Justice is we will not allow the Justice system to be destroyed and are willing to make a stand together .
