Policy advisory committees give advice and guidance to the Society on policy, practice and procedure in their specialist areas. Membership is made up of practitioners (mainly but not exclusively solicitors) who are experts in their field. Membership on a committee provides an opportunity to make a leading contribution to law reform and the development of legal practice in a specialist area. Successful appointees will become members on 1 September 2021 for a term of three years.
If you would like to apply to become a member of one of the above committees, you will find the relevant information on the law society website, where you can review the member role description and download the application form. Please forward your application form and CV (in Word format only) to [email protected] on or before Monday 15 March at 1200 hrs noon.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the current committee Chair and Member of the Policy and Regulatory Affairs Committee. Interviews will take place on MS Teams between Monday 29 March and Friday 16 April (no interviews will take place on bank holidays 2 and 5 April).
